Precision Moulds and Dies was started by Mr. G.S.Kochhar in 1973.After completing a masters degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Florida, Gainsville, he spent 2 years in Los Angeles, USA working in a high precision tool shop. On his return to India he founded PMD with the aim of creating a high precision tool room.

After 35 years, we are now one of the oldest and best tool rooms in India, manufacturing over 150 moulds a year and processing over 2000 tons of plastics.

The tool room is fully air-conditioned with the latest CNC machines and operates 24 hours to produce moulds. European standard moulds are manufactured in the fastest lead times. Our biggest asset is our technical know how and highly trained staff of technicians, designers, engineers and machinist who look forward to solving the toughest of problems with the most innovative solutions.

We have two injection moulding units, one in Sahibabad (U.P.) and one in Baddi (H.P.-a tax free zone). With a total of 40 injection moulding machines from Demag & Haitan, millions of plastic parts are produced every month for the packaging, cosmetic, engineering & the medical industry.

Since we design, manufacture and use our moulds for production as well, we are a one stop solution for our clients. No process in PMD is outsourced and it is this experience in every step which gives us a competitive edge.

We have over 400 employees, a built up space of over 100,000 sq.ft. and full generator back up incase of power failure.
